MLB: New York Yankees at Tampa Bay Rays: The Rays have been dismal at home this year averaging a mere 3 (!) runs per game, and are the 1st team since forever not to score more than 5 runs at home in any single game. You know that trend has to be snapped sometime, but probably not tonight. A.J. Burnett has always pitched well against the Rays and David Price is David Price. Dominate at Tropicana. Of course either one of these offenses could explode tonight and hit the over by themselves, but I’m willing to bet against them.

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies at St. Louis Cardinals: The Phillies are laying 1.5 tonight with Cliff Lee on the hill who is 2-0 with a 1.20 ERA against the Cards .. and is due for a win. Jake Westbrook has not been as good. I’m sure the struggling Cards will get a lift from LaRussa returning, but I’m betting on the ace.
